We source our platelets exclusively from FDA-regulated donation banks in the United States. After the approved transfusion window has passed, select, qualified, healthy donors are carefully chosen for our process.

These platelets are gently processed to isolate their delicate exosomes, which then undergo rigorous testing to ensure exceptional purity and safety.

( plated ) Skin Science serums are developed and manufactured in our Rochester, Minnesota laboratories, where these ethically sourced, human platelet-derived exosomes are incorporated into our proprietary Renewosome® Technology. This controlled process ensures high levels of purity, potency, and consistency from batch to batch.

Our products are formulated in the United States using FDA-approved platelet sources.

( plated ) products are absorbed into the skin through cells of the epidermis and through hair follicles. The molecular structure of the exosome is under 500kd, which allows for easy penetration through the skin.

Think of exosomes as tiny egg-like packages that deliver powerful benefits to your skin in the form of antioxidants and peptides (phosphopeptides to be exact!).

Our proprietary Renewosome® Technology processes platelet-derived exosomes through an advanced and extremely gentle ultrafiltration that allows exosomes to keep their “shell” (aka lipid bilayer) intact. This is imperative for shelf stability.

By comparison, a process such as centrifugation places an enormous amount of pressure on the exosomes. This causes the delicate “shell” to crack, producing an unstable serum that requires refrigeration.

We recommend storing your products at room temperature. Please avoid storing any of your products at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) or above 95°F (35°C) for extended periods.

Our products are produced in small, in-house batches and are shelf-stable for up to 12 months when stored correctly. This should include keeping them out of extreme heat and cold.

While results can vary by skin type and reason for use, most participants in clinical trials reported a positive impact after 6 weeks of use.

Both the INTENSE and DAILY Serums are breakthrough formulas that deliver next-level anti-aging results.

• INTENSE Serum (15 ml) is our most concentrated exosome formula. It was designed to address the most challenging skin concerns, such as mature skin, stubborn pigmentation, fine lines, and dullness.
• DAILY Serum (30 ml) features a slightly lower exosome concentration and a higher concentration of hydrating ingredients; consumers affectionately nicknamed it the “glow” serum. DAILY is best suited for those with moderate anti-aging, pigmentation, and tone or texture concerns. It's recommended for those looking for more gradual results or those interested in pre-juvenation and who wish to preserve, protect, and improve luminosity.

You may wish to start with INTENSE and transition to DAILY to help maintain your results. Or choose DAILY and opt for INTENSE when your skin needs an extra boost!

The carrier gel used within INTENSE and DAILY contains a naturally occurring substance called hyaluronic acid. This molecule, which is naturally found in the body, works to increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
